To indulge in Major sin continuously

Question

if someone is committing sin (major sin) like fornification he/ she wants to stop but he/ she's not being able to do so, even when the latter is doing its best to do good deeds ( doing all his salat and even doing salat ul taubah) he/she cant stop. Please give a solution concerning this matter
