respected Mufti Saheb Assalamaoalaikum w.w I am a diabetic patient. one of my toe is suffering from fungal infection. the doctor said that i must keep it away from water , he said to wear nail polish for a few weeks on that one toe to ensure that water does not get in the nail of that toe. 1. can I apply nail polish ? 2. if yes, how will i perform wudu and what about farz gusul? kindly advice jazakallah khair for always guiding us wassalam Mrs H, KATHRADA ( from Mauritius)

Answer

As medication you may apply nail polish and make massah upon it instead of washing. And if massah is harmful then you may avoid it also. Your wudhu and ghusl will be valid Insha Allah.
