Dear Sir or Madam, We are a fishing company based in Port Louis and in Reunion. We fish lobsters, tuna and patagonian toothfish. A customer from Dubai is requesting a halal certificate to import our our lobsters (caught, frozen and packed on board) An organization in France told us that all seafood products don’t need this certificate – especially for unprocessed fish but our customer insists on getting this certificate. Could you let us know how to proceed in this case, do we need to get a certificate and who can deliver it? Thank you very much for your help, Best regards, J Mehaut

Dear Sir / Madam, According to us only fish is lawful. Lobster not being in the category of fish is not lawful. We regret of not being able to assist you in granting you a halal certificate for it.
