Performing swalaat with clothes hanging bellow the ankle for male.

Aslmkm.. is there any hadith that says we shouldn't wear clothes upside down? and what's the link between it and folding the pants above the ankle? some people say that we shouldn't fold our pants above the ankle if it is below when reading salaah because hadith say we shouldn't wear clothes upside down and folding it will make it upside down.. is it correct?

Wa alaikumus salaam. You are not allowed to wear clothes below the ankle. The ankle should be uncovered from above. According to hadith, swalaat of a person wearing such clothes or trousers become detestable. Wearing such clothes causes Allah's wrath and anger. We are supposed to abstain from such clothes. So if you can't at least you should observe it in namaz.
