Assalamualaikum
As the 27th night is approaching we'll find most of our masaajid organize programs and bayaans. and we'll also find ulamaa who are of the opinion of doing these programs and some who are against. I would like to know in advance whether JUM hold the opinion of doing it or not and why? we (our committee) want to organize it in our masjid but I'm not sure and I need the guidance of Ulamaa if I say yes I want to know why and if no O want to know why not so that I can put it in front of the other members.

It has become a custom and it is considered to be part of deen which in fact it is not. That is why the people blame the Ulama who oppose this practice.
