Assalamualaikum wrwb Please advise if someone is intending to use the qurbani meat (1/3 share for family & 1/3 share for oneself) for a family gathering / tilawat ul quran / Lunch, is it that the 7 people who are taking part in the animal, their qurbani is invalid? since that particular person has not made the right intention for qurbani. Please clarify. Can't we use the qurbani meat (1/3 share for family & 1/3 share for oneself) for a family lunch?? Jazakallah Khair :)

Wa alaikumus salaam If qourbani is done with mere intention of using the meat in da'wat in such a way that if there was no da'wat you would not perform qourbani then in this case it is not valid as qourbani.
