Assalamualaikum, I have given my wife the first talaq. The following week, I gave her a second talaq. Now, my wife, who is still in her iddat,wants to return back to me. If I want to take her back, do I have to do nikkah again since I have already pronounced 2 talaqs?. Grateful if my question remains confidential and is answered promptly. Thanking you. JazakAllah

wa alaikumus salaam In case your wife wishes to return before her 3 menses are over after the first talaaq was issued then you can resume conjugal life without the needs to renew the nikaah.
