Question

regarding question 1516 concerning a yogurt, you said "not verified by JUM".

since JUM has not certified any yogurt, could you not adopt the humble stance of saying "ok as per ingredients" as you do for other products that dont have any certification?

just because a "rival" has certified it, you leave the public in doubt by saying not verified?

May be you are forgetting that your aim is to provide guidance to the public regarding should be consumed or avoided...

Answer

When we say " Okay as per ingredient", it means " It seems to be okay as per ingredient". It should not be considered as a green light from our side.

In the same way when we say " Not verified by JUM", it means we didn't get the opportunity to verify or we didn't get any authorization to carry out our verification procedures for that particular product.

Anyway, by using these two terms we are actually not taking any responsibility regarding the product, but rather we are leaving it to the consumer's discretion.

Terms such as "RIVAL" should be avoided.
