A vain campaign

The best Salaah of a woman is the Salaah which is performed inside her house, in a secluded corner. This is the verdict of Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam)‎. This is what Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) liked. Is it worth running a campaign to achieve the opposite of what Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) liked? People may see this question as quite irrelevant because it is inconceivable that a Muslim could embark on such a campaign. But there are people who are exerting themselves for women to attend the Masjid. We all know that Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) advised them to perform their Salaah in the most remote corner of their house.

Firstly, this recommendation was addressed to the women during the time of Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam) who wanted to perform the Salaah behind Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam)‎ in Masjid‎un Nabawî. This Salaah was an exceptional Salaah in 2 aspects: Performed in Masjidun Nabawi and behind the Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam)‎. Don’t forget what the atmosphere and the sense of piety that prevailed at the time was like. It was an atmosphere of unrivalled piety.

Secondly, this recommendation was addressed to pious women in a similar environment; performing Salaah in one of the best Masjid‎s, behind the greatest Insaan and Rassoul!! So, one can easily get an idea of the importance of this recommendation compared to those given in our time. The current campaign therefore, despite its intensity, remains a vain campaign, void of blessings and Barakah because it goes against what Nabi (Sallallaahu A'laihi Wasallam)‎ had always wished for and appreciated.
