Assalamualaikum

I want to know if a husband have already given talak to his wife and there is a written letter and there kids are baligh and they were witnesses. Now the husband said that he had given 2 talak only and want to convince his ex-wife to make Nikah with him. But she doesn't want to stay with him and the other side the man doesn't want to go from the house. what should we do? He told them that if you tell me to go then i will not give alimony for the kids.

In terms of Islamic law, the children are not entitled for alimony. Other financial avenues should be sought for the well being of the children. Furthermore, Staying with someone outside nikah is a serious offence in Islam. If you made up your mind about not marrying him again, we suggest that you keep your distance from him as soon as possible.
