Does one have to include his interest money with his other wealth whilst calculating zakaat?

To avoid mixing interest money with my savings, I kept the interest money separately. Do I need to include that money when I'm calculating zakaat?

Wa alaikumussalaam warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh

There is no zakaat to be paid on interest money. It should be given away to the poor and destitute who are eligible to take zakaat without the intention of sawaab / rewards.
