True obedience

It is reported from a portion of a Hadith that:

"Observe Taqwa of Allah Ta'ala wherever you are ..."

‘Observe Taqwa’ means to live according tothe obedience of Allah Ta'ala. We obey Allah Ta'ala by executing His commandments and abstaining from his prohibitions. His commandments are for example, to perform Salah, fast in Ramadhan, and give Zakaat, while. His prohibitions are for example, involving oneself in interest, theft, and lies. A person becomes obedient when he is mindful of the commandments and prohibitionsand carries them out. This should be done wherever he is. Just like how he should observe themin Ramadhan, he should also carry themout outside of Ramadhan. And, just like how he should conduct himself well in front of others, he should also do this when in privacy. Just like how he behaves well in his community and among his acquaintances, he should also do so when he is abroad or in a place where nobody knows him. To develop such a will, a good treatment and training for his spiritual side is required. Through this training, the person will feel accompanied, secure and aware, even when he is alone. Thus, he will feel the presence of Allah Ta'ala and the companionship of Allah Ta'ala wherever he is. A person should study at a Maktab and Madrassah in order to learn how to read the Qur'an. And in order to understand the Qur'an, he should study at a Darul Ulum. But for the training tomake people feel the presence of Allah Ta'ala, oneshould train undera Sheikh Kamil in a Khanqah. Without this, it is practically impossible for a person to become truly obedient.
