plucking fruits in the nature

Asalamualaikum can we eat fruits from trees on the road which are the property of no individual but belongs to the government.

Answer

Walaikum salaam wa rahmatullah. Respected brother, If these fruits are freely available in the nature and the tree wasn't planted by anyone, then it will be permissible for you to consume them. However, if it was planted by a certain individual or the area is fenced up by the government or it's clearly written not to pluck the fruits, then it wouldn't be permissible to pluck them.
