A very commendable campaign

Campaigning for women to perform their Salah in the most secluded corner of their house is a way to encourage what Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has qualified as the best. Thus, it is a commendable effort. But if, despite this, women go to Masjid to perform Salah, then they are turning their backs on what Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) called the best. It is not something to boast about, but it is “high time” to mourn and cry over the paucity of our Imaan that makes us feel proud over a practice that goes against what Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) qualified as the best. We must not be too happy when we have been able to fill the Masjid with women, because we are making an effort which is against the pleasure of Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). A good Muslim cannot have such an attitude. May Allah Ta'ala protect us from this!

We must understand that real success lies in following Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Following Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the way we can show our love for Allah Ta’ala. If Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) had preferred the home for our mothers and sisters, we must not act in the contrary, by listening to everyone, especially those who did not learn Deen under pious people and qualified teachers. Otherwise, we will never succeed because success lies in following Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) and practicing what he has chosen for us.
