La-Ilaaha Illallaah…

There is no being that deserves worship apart from Allah Ta'ala. Salah, fasting, Zakaat, Hajj and all Ibaadat in general must be done solely for Allah Ta'ala. If it was done for show, then it is against this Kalimah that we are reciting and on the basis of which we consider ourselves Muslims.

Not only should we make Ibaadah for Allah Ta'ala, we should place our trust also solely in Allah Ta'ala. Outwardly, whatever happens in this Dunya seems to be due to so and so reason but in reality there is the hand of Allah Ta'ala behind everything that is happening. That is why a Muslim must have trust in Allah Ta'ala alone. He should stretch his hands in front of Him only. He should ask for everything that he needs from Him only because whatever he has to receive, he will get it from Allah Ta'ala himself.

Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelaani (Rahmatullahi alayh) says:

"Anyone to whom you attach your advantage or your disadvantage and you believe that Allah Ta'ala Himself will make it happen in his hands, then it means that you have considered this person as your Ma'bud (the one who deserves worship)." (Fuyuz-e-Yazdani Majlis 20)

… Muhammad Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam)

Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the messenger of Allah Ta'ala. That is, Allah Ta'ala has chosen him to convey the message. This message contains whatever a person must do and whatever he must not do, be it individually or collectively. This way of life is the only correct, authentic and reliable way because it is the revealed, designated way and it has been commanded by the Supreme Creator who knows every problem very well and knows its solution and remedy also very well. By accepting Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as the messenger of Allah Ta'ala, a person undertakes upon himself to live according to his teaching and to reject everything that opposes it. The Imaan of a person is not completed without this commitment and without living according to this commitment.
