The fortune of Imaan

Our greatest fortune is that we are Muslim and the Ummati of our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). And our greatest effort is in preserving this fortune till our last breath on this earth. A broken barrel or a rusty iron can be discarded. After all, if someone takes it, it doesn't matter. On the contrary, it is a burden which has been decreased from our responsibility. But something which is dear to us and which has value will always be preserved in a well-equipped place. And something which is a bit more valuable will be preserved in a more hidden and more closed place, which may not be in the knowledge of most of the family members also.

There is no fortune which is more valuable and more precious than our Imaan. Thus, it has to be preserved better than anything else. The most effective way to preserve it is to stay in the company of those who are practicing the Deen with full sincerity in the light of a sound knowledge.
