اﻟﺨﺎﻓﺾ (Al Khaafidh) – اﻟﺮاﻓﻊ (Ar Raafi')

Al-Khaafidh means the one who lowers and Ar-Raafi means the one who raises. Allah Ta'ala has the ability to lower or raise someone. It is Allah Ta'ala who lowers someone by dishonouring him and it is He who has the capacity to render someone honourable.

A person is never the same all the time. At one stage, he is young, brave and robust and after some time, one no more recognises him. One notices that his courage has finished. He lost his charm. Yesterday, people were running after him but today nobody recognises him. Dreams become a reality and reality becomes a past/by-gone story. Thus, there are ups and downs in life and all this lies in the hands of Allah Ta'ala.
