Quite strange

Everyone knows that fire burns, poison kills, water quenches thirst just as it extinguishes fire. Thus, a person does not play with fire because he knows that he may get burnt. He distances himself from poison because he knows that he can lose his life. Likewise, no one will touch an electric wire because he knows the consequence.

Whatever one does in Dunya has a consequence and an effect. Good work will have good effect and bad work will have bad effect. But people do not take this into consideration. That is why they do not perform good deeds and on the other hand, they do not fear to commit bad deeds. Mentality in general is such. It seems quite strange for a Muslim who believes in judgment on the day of Qiyaamah and has Imaan in the words of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) to continue to lead his life in negligence and recklessness. Otherwise, we should admit that our Imaan is not that strong. It is a weakness in our Imaan that prevents us from practising whatever is in the Qur'an and Hadith despite the fact that we may be reading and teaching morning and evening. Otherwise is our Imaan on something else stronger than the Imaan that we should have on the words of Deen. One must treat this incorrect belief by meditating on Hisaab Kitaab which will occur on the Day of Qiyaamah.
