- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
Our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam)
If I really love Allah Ta'ala, then there is only one way: I must follow the principles of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Then Allah Ta'ala also will love me and will forgive my sins. Who should I love? Wherever I look, I do not see anything that can support me everywhere, all the time and in all circumstances except the one Allah Ta'ala. This is because He existed ever since and will exist forever. He has no defect or shortcoming. He does not depend on anyone. Without Him, nothing can exist. Happiness and well-being are found solely in His hands. He has the ability to give me what I need when He wants to. Nothing can stop Him from giving me when He wants to shower His blessings on me. He does not need permission or authorisation from anyone when He wants to give me. He has ability over everything. There is nothing that is beyond His ability. Thus, there is nothing that deserves to be loved besides Allah Ta'ala. But there is a way to love Him. The real way to love Allah Ta'ala is by following Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Am I following the principles of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam)??
If I love Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), then why am I not following his principles? Why am I not following his Sunnah? Why do I shave my beard when Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said to keep the beard? Why do I not let it grow the length of a fist? Why do I prefer it short? Why do my trousers cover my ankles? It seems that I appreciate the fashion of others more than the Tareeqah of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
O Allah, I make Taubah! It is really a big mistake that I am committing even though I can make a thousand and one excuses to justify myself. Forgive me and protect me from such hypocrisy. Grant me such Muhabbah for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) that allows me to admire his principles and Sunnah. Oh Allah! Make me live according to the Mubaarak Tareeqah of my beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
