The Reward of a Mu'min

A Mu'min is someone who has Imaan. Allah Ta'ala kept Jannah only for those who die on Imaan.

Whoever enters Jannah will stay there forever. Jannah represents the eternal well-being where a person will live happily forever. There is nothing like sadness, fear, regret, misfortune, misery or difficulty in Jannah. It is a place which lacks nothing. It is a place where one does not have to press even a button to get whatever one wants. One will hardly desire something and it will appear in front of one and at one’s disposal.

Is there anyone more miserable than the one who misses this chance? This chance depends only on one thing. A person must leave this Dunya in the state of Imaan.

"It is for this that competitors should compete." (S 83: V26)

The last moment of our life, that is, the moment where we leave this Dunya is a crucial and decisive moment. It is either eternal well-being or suffering in perpetuity. It will be eternal well-being if one died in the state of Imaan or else it will be eternal suffering.

"Oh Allah we ask you for your Grace and your protection against the fire."

"Oh Allah make us leave this world in the state of Imaan."

The most effective way to preserve Imaan is to always ask Allah to protect our Imaan. Then, the second most effective way is to stay in the company of the pious and always be in Deeni environments.
