Help from Allah Ta'ala

In the past, there were several events that occurred concerning the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallaahu Anhum), the Taabi'in and the Taba Taabi'in. These events showed how these pious personalities benefited from the help of Allah Ta'ala in difficult times. Yet, visibly, there was no way out. But Allah Ta'ala helped them in a miraculous way. Let’s take the case of Hazrat Mariam (Alaihas Salam) who was secluded in one place and who had devoted herself totally in Ibaadah. In the Tafseers of the Qur'an-e-Kareem, it is mentioned that she was getting foods and fruits which were not found there and which were off-season. And yet, no one had access to her besides Hazrat Zakariyyah (Alaihis Salam). But when Allah Ta'ala wants, what may not happen/anything can happen. Allah Ta'ala does not need a bridge to cross. Allah Ta'ala does not need a key to open a door. He has ability over everything.

Hazrat Safeena (Radiyallaahu Anhu), who was on a journey to fulfil a mission of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), had met a lion on the way. Hazrat Safeena (Radiyallaahu Anhu) said that he approached that lion to inform it that they were on a mission from Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) and that they lost the way. The lion showed them the way and he proceeded.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radiyallaahu Anhu) was on a trip. During his journey, he saw a group of people standing. Upon inquiry, he came to know that there was a lion on the way. Thus Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar (Radiyallaahu Anhu) descended from his camel, approached the lion, grabbed its ear and moved it from the way.

Once, two Sahaabi left the house of Nabi (Sallaalahu Alaihi Wasallam). It was very dark, but Allah Ta'ala lit their way with a kind of lamp. When they were about to separate ways to go to their respective homes, each one had a lamp until they reached their home.

Hazrat Umme Aiman (Radiyallahu Anha), a Sahaabiyyah, was on a journey of Hijrah. She was fasting and she was very thirsty but there was nothing to drink. Suddenly, she saw a bucket of water hanging from the sky by a white rope. She drank this water until her thirst was quenched. She says that after this event she was never thirsty even though she exposed herself voluntarily to situations that provoked thirst. She said that she was fasting on very hot days but even then she was not feeling thirsty.

There are many similar events which are mentioned in the books. When we read these events, we get great consolation that the problems that we face in different areas and at different levels also should have a solution. And this solution is nowhere but in the hand of Allah Ta'ala. Our problems can also be solved just as the problems of those who were before us were solved. There is only one way. We should strengthen our fidelity and loyalty to Allah Ta'ala by practicing the Deen with stability and sincerity.
