- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
Al-Jaleel
The word Jaleel is derived from the word Jalaal which means greatness, majesty, glory etc. So Al-Jaleel means the one who is great, majestic, and possesses glory. It is an attribute that indicates perfection. Everything besides Allah Ta'ala is susceptible to imperfection. Therefore, it is Allah Ta'ala alone who is Al-Jaleel. Nothing can surpass Allah Ta'ala. All merits, in whichever forms they may exist, belong to Allah Ta'ala. All authority one may get, in all forms, is a gift and a favour from Allah Ta'ala. No one possesses/may possess any capacity or authority on his own. It is Allah Ta'ala who grants authority. Anyone who possesses them to whatever degree and at whatever level, is in debt to Allah Ta'ala for whatever he possesses. Just as Allah Ta'ala grants, He can take back also. A person should not be proud of what he has and become arrogant. Meditation on the attribute of Al-Jaleel develops humility in a person. It gives him hope and relief in his difficult times. It renders him sincere and obedient to Allah Ta'ala. And this makes him confident and positive in his life because he has only one aim and one objective to take into consideration. And it is Allah Al-Jaleel. Besides that, everything becomes secondary if not negligible.
