The perfect religion

Islam is the perfect religion. It is a mode of life. It is the way of life that Allah Ta’ala has chosen for humanity. To become a Muslim is obligatory on every Insaan. But every person must do it out of his own free will. An Islamic state does not force anyone to become a Muslim. Every Insaan is free to choose the religion that he likes. But the one who died as a Muslim will be fortunate forever in Aakhirah and he will enter Jannah. On the other hand, the one who died on another religion besides Islam will suffer eternally in hell. He will never come out of it. Allah Ta’ala said in the Qur’an-e-Kareem:

"Verily those who practice Kufr and who die as Kaafiroon, upon them is the curse of Allah Ta’ala, the angels and the entire mankind. They will live forever in this. Neither will their punishment be lessened nor will they be given any respite." (S 2: V 161-162)

Another place, Allah Ta’ala says:

"... Allah Ta’ala has definitely forbidden Jannah for the one who attributes a partner to Allah and his abode shall be the Fire..." (S 5: V 72)

In another place, Allah Ta’ala says:

"Verily Allah Ta’ala shall not forgive that Shirk be committed but will forgive all other sins for whom He wills..." (S 4: V 116)
