Another discovery

According to some people who claim to be a bit more intelligent than others, a Maqbul narrator is a narrator whose Hadith is weak so long as it is not supported by another narrator. And they attribute this definition to Allamah Bin Hajar Asqalani (Rahmatullahi alayh). By this, we understand that a weak narrator is Maqbul (acceptable) according to Allamah Bin Hajar Asqalani (Rahmatullahi alayh) even if there is no one to support him. Firstly, we are astonished as to how a Rawi who is Layyin-ul-Hadith or one whose Hadith is weak and whom no one supports, can become a Maqbul narrator.

A "Maqbul" narrator is one who is valid and acceptable. We do not understand how someone who is weak can be valid and acceptable. And the most surprising thing is how can the Hadith of a narrator who is Maqbul (acceptable) be a weak Hadith? Yes, we understand that when a Hadith is weak and it is supported by another Hadith, it becomes a Hadith that can be considered. But it is the first time that we are hearing that a narrator, whose Hadith is weak, becomes a Maqbul narrator without being supported by another narrator. It is an innovation and a Bid'ah in the field of Hadith. We highlight that the definition that these B.A or M.A gave is a definition that is not found anywhere. They cannot import it from their mother-house nor is it found in the Taqreeb-ut-Tahzeeb of Ibn Hajar. We invite them to prove their statement by producing an Arabic text along with its translation. However, they will not be able to do so because they have once again slipped.

As a well-wisher, we ask this group to suspend this "brother" who writes erroneous things so that this does not stain their reputation which has already been tarnished by repeated slippages.

In fact, according to Ibn Hajar, a Rawi is:

من ليس له من الحديث الا القليل ولم يثبت فيه ما يترك حديثه من اجله واليه الاشارة بلفظ مقبول حيث يتابع والا فلين الحديث"

"The one who has very few Hadith and there is nothing concrete in it that necessitates forsaking his Hadith due to that, thus attention was drawn to this same category by the term مقبول when the rawi gets support." Otherwise, he is a الحديث لين (the one whose Hadith is weak)."

This shows that according to Allamah Bin Hajar, a narrator:

1. Who has no criteria that require the rejection of his Hadith,

2. Who is supported by another,

Is qualified as a Maqbul narrator.

Otherwise he is a الحديث لين (the one whose Hadith is weak). This shows that Maqbul and الحديث لين are two different categories of narrators. But according to them, a Maqbul narrator is a Layyinul Hadith. That is, according to them, both are same. And this is a blatant mistake.

Intellectual dishonesty

What is even more surprising is that it has been almost a year since they have been informed that they made a big mistake in understanding and teaching a Hadith whereby they have changed the word Qaadsiyyah into Faarsiyyah. Instead of correcting their own mistake, they see mistakes in others where there is no mistake. Leave alone this! They came to understand and make others understand something that is not found in the book that they made reference to. It is truly lowliness and intellectual dishonesty that Allah Ta’ala is making them undergo. This is due to their lack of respect for the Auliya of Allah. We know that after all this, they will not acknowledge their mistake and they will prefer to keep people in error and darkness.

But still, we tell them: Either you accept your mistake with dignity or you continue to justify the unjustifiable in lowliness.
