المالك (Al-Malik)

Al-Malik means the one who has authority in his kingdom. He acts as He wants without any pressure from anyone. He controls everything. Unlike the kings of this worldly life who need their people to become the king, Allah is Al-Malik, in the sense that He does not need anyone. He does not need any support to become the King. He is a King who creates everything, does everything and controls everything. He is a king whose royalty is never affected. Even if everyone disobeys Him, this does not decrease status of His royalty in any way. He is a king whose treasure is never exhausted. His treasure is so vast that it can make everyone become a king without it even decreasing by an iota. 

The kings or leaders of this world must face many obstacles before taking anything from the public treasury to give to anyone. They are afraid of the opposition party and the impact that it can have at national and international level.

Glory be to Allah, Al-Malik, who is not accountable to anyone! He is free to give to whoever He wants the amount that He wants. There is no one who can block a favour that Allah Ta’ala wants to give to someone.
