Dajjaal

Dajjaal is derived from Dajl which means falsehood, lies, deception, etc. In this sense, this name can apply to every person who is a great liar or who is very dishonest. But the Dajjaal, whose advent was announced in the Hadith, is a specific person of the Jewish community that will be called "Maseeh". He will have only one eye and in the other eye, there will be a lump like a protruding grape. Three letters ك ف ر will be written between his eyes. It will be so obvious that everyone will be able to read it. His hair will be very curly and tangled. He will travel on a big donkey. At first, he will appear in a place between Shaam and Iraq and he will declare himself as a Prophet. After that, he will go to a place called Isfahaan where 70,000 Jews will follow him. Then, there will be a phase where he will declare himself as Allah. He will show many miracles to convince people. Eventually, he will kill a person and he will revive him. Then, he will try to kill him a second time, but he will not be able to do so. This is how Allah Ta’ala will dishonour him by rendering him incapable.

When will Dajjaal appear?

Dajjaal will appear after Imam Mahdi (Rahmatullahi Alayh). That is, when Imam Mahdi (Rahmatullahi Alayh) would have completed the jihad against the Christians and conquered Constantinople, he will settle in Damascus where he will deal with the problems of the Muslims. Then, Dajjaal will appear. He will try to enter Makkah, while going through Yemen, accompanied by his army but he will not be able to do so because he will see Farishta around Makkah. He will also be tempted to enter Madinah. However, the angels will prevent him here also.

When Dajjal will not be able to enter Makkah and Madinah, he will take the direction of Shaam. At that moment, Hazrat Issa (Alaihis Salaam) will descend from the sky near the minaret that is found on the East of the Ja'mi Masjid of Damascus.

The advent of Hazrat I'sa (Alaihis Salaam)

The advent of Hazrat I'sa (Alaihis Salaam) is one of the important points and beliefs that are proven by the Qur'an-e-Kareem, the Hadith Mutawatir and the consensus of the Ummah in a way that leaves no doubt. Thus, it is Farz to believe in it. 

Hazrat I'sa (Alaihis Salaam) will descend from the sky, escorted by two angels, near the minaret that is found on the West of Jami Masjid of Damascus, at a time when Hazrat Mahdi (Rahmatullahi Alayh) will be standing to perform the Salah of Fajr. After completing the Salah, Hazrat I'sa (Alaihis Salaam), accompanied by Hazrat Mahdi (Rahmatullahi Alayh) will attack Dajjaal and his armies. Finally, Hazrat I'sa (Alaihis Salaam) will attack him and will kill him at a place called "Baab Ludd".
