... The Mulhid and the Mu'jizah
The Mulhid or the perverts refuse to accept the miracles or the Mu'jizah that was manifested through the Prophets. Their limited knowledge prevents them from accepting this. The same mistake is committed when they try to understand it through their logic. However, they ignore the fact that their logic has a limit where it stops functioning, and they ignore the fact that there are certain logics that their logics do not understand. It is an extraordinary logic that requires an extraordinary logic to understand it. A person who has Imaan, that nothing is impossible for Allah Ta’ala, does not fall in such a trap.
For example, Allah Ta’ala can make a task that requires a lot of time to happen in a very short time. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) made the trip and the journey of Mi'raaj in a very short time. Those who had Imaan did not have difficulty accepting it, but the Mushrik and the Kaafir found it impossible.
Similarly, Hazrat Sulaimaan (Alaihis Salaam) had displaced the throne of the Queen of Saba from Yemen to Syria in the blink of an eye. The Mulhid are at a loss in their calculation of minutes and seconds. In such a situation, they estimate the distance between these two places and they are amazed how it could happen in the blink of an eye. However, they forget that it is not the doings of Hazrat Sulaiman (Alaihis Salaam) but that of Allah Ta’ala who has the capacity to do everything and they forget that by refusing to accept such things, in reality, they have refused to accept that Allah Ta’ala has ability over everything. Regarding the believers, they know that this is true because it is the doings of Allah Ta’ala who has the ability over everything.
According to a narration in Tirmizi, a person called 'Umair Bin Haani was performing one thousand Rak'at of Salah and 100,000 Tasbeehaat in one day.
A person can count minutes and seconds to say that this is impossible, but for a good believer, this is very easy because Allah Ta’ala can make a work of considerable amount of time happen in a very short time. It is Ilhaad or perversity in Deen that prevents one from accepting such things. Unfortunately, those who claim to carry the light of guidance did not hesitate to commit this kind of perversity in Deen when they have refused to accept such Karaamat (miracles) by labelling them as false stories. We know that they will realise the mistake that they have committed later on and that they will regret their childish habit of copying.
