Wahdatul-Wujud and Taqdeer (destiny)

According to the Qur’an-e-Kareem and the Hadith of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), a good Muslim must not engage himself in futile activities.

Futility refers to something that does not have any benefit, neither in Dunya nor in Aakhirah. At a time, where people do not know the meaning of Imaan and how to perform Wuzu, Ghusl or Salah, one is bringing up complicated topics such as the whereabouts of Allah, Wahdat-ul-Wujud and Taqdeer (destiny). It is truly a waste of time and a futile work which are deviating the public from what is more essential. These things are called Mutashaabihaat or extremely complicated things which no one knows its true scope besides Allah Ta’ala.

Those to whom Allah Ta’ala has granted true knowledge, believe in it without going into details. On the other hand, those who bring up such subjects, are those who have been qualified by the Qur’an-e-Kareem as those whose hearts are crooked. For the sake of our Imaan, we should have Imaan in these subjects without going into detail. Otherwise, we will lose our precious lives without gaining anything in return.
