An anti-Sounnah comment?

"For a person to perform Salah for 12 days with one Wuzu only, means that during these 12 days, he did not urinate, excrete, break wind nor sleep ....."

This is a comment that a person has made to contradict an anecdote found in Faza'il-e-Namaz of Hazrat Sheikh Zakariyyah (Rahmatullahi Alayh). According to this anecdote, a person performed all the Salah with only one Wuzu for 12 days.

This comment does not seem to emanate from a Sunni. This is because according to the conception of Ahl-us-Sunnah Wal Jamaa'ah, the Karaamat of the Auliya-Allah is Haqq (true). What had happened was through Karaamat. And it is Allah Ta’ala who manifests Karamah through the person that He wants. Refusing to accept such Karaamat is a way of challenging the power and ability of Allah Ta’ala because nothing is impossible for Allah Ta’ala. That Allah Ta’ala who has made the system of urinating, excreting, eating and drinking, sleeping, etc., has the ability to change this system for the person that He wants. That Allah, who can keep Hazrat Yunus (Alaihis Salaam) safe and sound for 40 days in the belly of a fish, has the ability to keep his servant without food and drink and without sleep for 12 days. For a non-Sunni who does not believe in Karaamat, it seems surprising but for a Sunni, there is nothing impossible in it. It seems that this person is very poor and weak in his study of Qur’an and Hadith. It seems that his analysis is based on a non-Islamic source. Allaamah Ibn Taimiyyah (Rahmatullahi alayh) says in his الفرقان :

وكان ابراهيم التيمى يقيم الشهر والشهرين لا ياكل شيئا

Translation: - "Ibrahim Bin Taymi was living without eating anything for one and two months." (Al-Furqaan)
