Gratitude

When a person does a favour to you, you should be grateful for it. Being grateful is a very good character that is found in all good people. And even people, who are not too good, do not like to be called ungrateful because gratefulness is found in animals such as dogs also.

Lack of gratitude or ingratitude is not the character of a good person.

For a considerable amount of time, the Ulama have spent sleepless nights in order to explain Deen and put it within our reach. At the head of these Ulama, there are:

1. Imam Abu Hanifah

2. Imam Malik

3. Imam Shafi’i

4. Imam Ahmad Bin Hambal

5. And other Ulama (Rahmatoullaahi 'A'laihim).

We must be very grateful to these Ulama. In spite of this, if we criticise them, it would really be ingratitude, which is a character that a good person cannot have in him.
