THERE IS A LIMIT...

Everything has a limit. Stupidity also has a limit just as intelligence. This stupidity seems more ridiculous when it emanates from one who claims to have knowledge. At times, these people claim to be so strong that they do not need to follow any Imam. They claim to be independent. While at other times, they are so weak that they hold on to whatever straw they can get in order to save their lives. At times, one wonders whether it is people of knowledge who are speaking this way! Very often, they say without any hesitation not to follow any Imam. Yet, these very people dare to tell one that they will take one’s responsibility by Allah Ta’ala. In other words, one is allowed to follow them in rendering Haraam Halaal as they will take one’s responsibility. They tell one that to conduct the Khutbah in another language is correct. Because they will assume this responsibility on your behalf in front of Allah Ta’ala. They tell one to continue to live with one’s wife, even after having issued three Talaaq because they will assume this responsibility on your behalf in front of Allah Ta’ala.

Do you see what is happening? They prohibit you from following Imam Abu Hanifah (Rahmatullaahi 'alayh) or some other Imam because according to them, this is not allowed. But, on the other hand, you are allowed to render Haraam Halaal based on their trust.

My brother! Do you realise what you are saying? You are campaigning for people to refrain from following the interpretations, explanations, clarifications and opinions of a great Imaam (Rahmatullaahi 'alayh) who lived in an era which was very close to that of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam), in order to follow you on your guaranty and trust! You do not keep your word. You are not a person of principle. I wonder, how many people will you be able to carry in your boat, which is like the skin of a peanut, in the storm that will occur on the day of Qiyaamah? 

You do not want to hear about following an Imam, but you invite people to follow you on your confidence. Enough my brother, enough! Everything has a limit.
