Aqeedah of the 4 Mazhab

Sheikh 'Allaamah Abdul Wahhaab Subki (Rahmatullahi 'alayh) has said in his book "Mu'idun ni'am wa mubidun niqam": “These four Mazhab - all praises be to Allah - are unanimous in their Aqaa'id (plural of Aqeedah) - with the exception of those who have linked themselves to Mu'tazilah (a deviated sect) and to the Mujassamah (another deviated sect). Otherwise, Jumhur (the majority) are on the truth, they affirm the 'Aqeedah of Abu Ja'far At Tahawi (Al Hanafi) whom the 'Ulama have accepted among the Salaf (ancestors) and the Khalaf (successors).” [Footnote pg. 5 of Sharh Al 'Aqidat-ut-Tahawiyyah by 'Allaamah Abul 'Izz Al Hanafi (Rahmatullahi 'alayh) (731-792 H.), published by Qadimi Kutub Khana - Pakistan]
