Separate jamaat in the mosque

If we have missed the salaat conducted by Imam, can we do a small jamaat afterwards in the mosque?

Answer

It is not advisable as this will lead to diminishing the importance of the official jamaat. Hence everybody should do it individually just to avoid to give way to the occurrence of many jamaats in the mosque.
