Female Issues

Assalamoualaikoum, Actually i heard that at the times of sahaba the women too used to ride camels.is it true? Futhurmore, i heard that women should not drive cars.If this is true can you guide me with reference why women should not drive,please.and if possible can u post the name of the aalim or mufti answering this question too( just in case i'll have to share this information with friends they'll obviously ask who said that?or whose fatwa it is) Jazak Allah Khairan
