Wat is the simple khutbah. someone mention dat one has only to recite ayat dats all is dat true, plz Mufti saab enlighten me on

Masnoon Khutbah comprises of Hamd (praise) for Allah (Subhaanahu wata-aala), swalaat and salaam upon Nabi (Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) and advises from kitaab and sunnah. It shouldn't exceed the duration of 2 rakaats of salaatul Jumu'ah. According to Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) if one says " Alhamdulillah " it will serve the purpose of Khutbah. meaning that it will be permissible to perform 2 rakaats of Jumuah after that. But it is makroohe tahreemi (a degree of prohibition and undesirability closed to haraam) to perform khutbah in this way as it is against the sunnah of Nabi (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam)
