Virtues of Surah Al-Mulk

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahou anhu) reported that Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) said: "There is a Surah ‎comprising of thirty aayat in the Qour'aan which will intercede for the person who recites it until he is forgiven.  It is ‎Surah Al-Mulk, Tabarakallazî biyadihil mulk." (Ahmad, Abu Daawoûde)‎

Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) said: "My heart wants this surah (ie Surah Al-Mulk) to be in the heart of every ‎believer."‎

Tirmizi (R) narrates from Ibn-e-Abbaas (Radiyallahou anhu), that some Sahaabah (Radiyallahou anhoum) pitched a tent ‎in a place without knowing that there was a grave there.  Suddenly, those who were pitching the tent heard a voice ‎reciting Surah Al-Mulk (Tabarakallazî ...).  The incident was reported to Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) who ‎explained that this surah protects against the punishment of Allah and ensures salvation.‎
