Virtue of Surah Ikhlaas

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "By Allah. It (Surah Qul huwallah) is equivalent to 1/3 of the Qur’an." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam): "Do not make your houses like a Qabrastaan. Certainly, Shaitaan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (Muslim)

Touching the Qur’an-e-Kareem or reciting the Qur'aan-e-Kareem without Wuzu

It is not permissible...

It is not permissible to touch the Qur’an-e-Kareem without Wuzu. It is not permissible to touch the Qur’an-e-Kareem nor recite it without Ghusl.

A lady is not allowed to touch or recite the Qur’an-e-Kareem during menstruation so long as she does not take a Ghusl after her menstrual period is over.

Qur’an-e-Kareem

Qur’an-e-Kareem is the word of Allah Ta’ala that has been revealed to our beloved Nabi, Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). This Qur’an has not been revealed all at once. It was revealed gradually during a period of 23 years, depending on the need.

Taking a pay for reciting Qur’an in the house of people

Is it permissible to take a pay for reciting Qur’an in the house of people?

Answer:

Surat-ul-Kahf

This Surah relates three very important events to us that took place in the past:

  1. The story of a group of youngsters who had gone to hide in a Kahf (cave) to preserve their Deen and their Imaan. Due to this link, it has been named Surah Al-Kahf.

  2. The story of Hazrat Musa (Alaihis Salaam) when he had received the command to meet Hazrat Khidr (Alaihis Salaam).

Burhan of Al Jamiat against the Buhtan of Nafsaniyat

A drowning person will try to hold on to every small thing with the hope of saving his life. This is what is happening to a group of disoriented individuals who no longer know how to purify themselves of their sins and conceal their faults. Thus, the most correct way according to them is to trigger an upheaval to make people forget the essential. Recently, these individuals have put a "Bhuhtan" (false accusation) on Al Jamiat who, according to them, is inventing an Aayat of Qur’an.

Salaf-e-Saaliheen and Khatm-ul-Qur'an

According to Hakim Abu 'Abdullah, Imam Bukhari (Rahmatullahi Alaih) used to recite 20 verses in every Rak'aat of Taraaweeh which he was performing in Jamaat.

He used to read 1/3 to ½ of Qur'an-e-Kareem at the time of Sehri. In this way, he used to complete a Qur'an every 3 days at the time of Sehri. Besides that, he used to complete a Khatm-ul-Qur'an during the day which he used to complete at the time of Iftaar. (Muqaddamah Fath-ul-Baari)
