Burhan of Al Jamiat against the Buhtan of Nafsaniyat

A drowning person will try to hold on to every small thing with the hope of saving his life. This is what is happening to a group of disoriented individuals who no longer know how to purify themselves of their sins and conceal their faults. Thus, the most correct way according to them is to trigger an upheaval to make people forget the essential. Recently, these individuals have put a "Bhuhtan" (false accusation) on Al Jamiat who, according to them, is inventing an Aayat of Qur’an. As for us at Al Jamiat, we sincerely believe and we declare openly that adding, subtracting or inventing something in the Qur’an is purely Kufr, for which we ask Allah Ta’ala for protection against. 

If we said: "In the Qur’an-e-Kareem, Allah Ta’ala has promised that he is going to help those who remain in His obedience in a miraculous way" in Al Jamiat Vol 3 No 11, we know that what we said is neither a verse of the Qur’an nor did we present it as such. Those who are used to reading Al Jamiat or other publications of Al Jamiat, know very well how meticulous we are in translating a verse of the Qur’an or some Hadith. We normally write it between quotation marks or inverted commas ("") and if we have to add a word to clarify the meaning, we put it in brackets just to distinguish it from the original text. We say it again and above all, it is we ourselves who must say it because we are still alive, and besides Allah Ta’ala, it is we ourselves who are well aware of what we had in our hearts, that is, we have never presented this as a verse. Rather, we have presented it in a general sense and that has been drawn from several verses of the Qur’an, especially verse 2/3 of Surah At-Talaq.

By making such an objection, our "brothers" make us feel ashamed. They have learned for 10-15 years, but they could not study Bukhari Shareef. If they had studied it well, they would never have made such an objection. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) rightly said that the one who remains quiet, gets Najaat (salvation). These people have crossed their limit in speech. That is why people can now see their true colours..

According to a Hadith found in Saheeh Bukhari, once, a woman who was called Umm Ya'qub (Radiyallahu Anha) wanted to know from Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu), the reason why he cursed women who do tattoos, pluck their eyebrows and file their teeth. Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu) replied: "Why should I not curse those whom Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) had cursed and those who were cursed in the Kitab (book) of Allah Ta’ala." Umma Ya'qub (Radiyallahu Anha) wanted to know the verse in regards to this matter, thus, Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu) referred to verse 7 of Surah 59 where Allah Ta’ala said: 

"... Hold fast to what the Rasool (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) gives you and refrain from what he prevents you..."

All those whom Allah Ta’ala has favoured to learn the Qur’an by heart know that there is no verse in the Qur’an where Allah Ta’ala cursed those who do tattoos, etc. But despite this, Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu) said that this is found in the book of Allah Ta’ala. We thank Allah Ta’ala a lot that there was no stupid person in that epoch. Otherwise, they would have blamed Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu) that (Na’uzubillah) he is inventing Aayat of the Qur’an just as nowadays, our ignorant preachers, want to make understand through their bad manners of copying. As far as we know, there is no Sahaabi, Taabi'i, Imaam or scholar of Hadith during these 14 centuries who had the audacity to say that Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (Radiyallahu Anhu) had invented an Aayat of the Qur’an. By putting such an accusation on Al Jamiat, these stubborn preachers have made such a mistake that no one committed during 1400 years. A big congratulation for the record that they have broken, because they have had the audacity to isolate themselves completely from the stand and attitude that they have always been adopted during 1400 years. And this is the work of a person who is very arrogant or very stupid.
