The Revelation

Hazrat 'Umar (Radhi Allahu ‘anhu) reported: "Whenever revelation (Wahi) would come to the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam), a sound similar to the humming of bees could be heard around him (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam).  So, once, he (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) received revelation.  We waited for some time.  When he (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) had recovered, he (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) faced the Qiblah and he (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) supplicated while raising his hands:

Anomalies

"We did not send any messenger before you nor a prophet, but when he recited, Shaitaan cast doubts in his recitations.  So, Allah eradicates what Shaitaan casts, then Allah consolidates His verses, and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise." (22:52)

Nasikh and Mansukh

"AL-Haadi" had already published an article to prove the existence of Dou'aa-e-Qunout with the formula "Allaahoumma innaa Nastaî'nouka ....". Contrary to rumours that deny its existence, we have proved that this Dou'aa was indeed recited by Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam), the Sahaabah Kiraam (Radiyallahou anhoum) and the Taabi'îne (R).

In addition to that, we demonstrated with references that  two Sourahs of the Qur'aan-e-Karim were abrogated later.

Virtues of the Qur'aan

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbaas (Radiyallahou anhu) reported that Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) said:‎

‎"He who has no part of the Qur'aan in his heart is like a ruined house."‎

Virtues of Surah Al-Mulk

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahou anhu) reported that Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) said: "There is a Surah ‎comprising of thirty aayat in the Qour'aan which will intercede for the person who recites it until he is forgiven.  It is ‎Surah Al-Mulk, Tabarakallazî biyadihil mulk." (Ahmad, Abu Daawoûde)‎

Rasulullah (Sallallaahou A'laihi Wasallam) said: "My heart wants this surah (ie Surah Al-Mulk) to be in the heart of every ‎believer."‎

The merits of tilaawat

The modernists simply say that there is no benefit in reciting the Qour'aan-e-Karim if one does not understand its ‎meaning.  This is a very dangerous perspective that can lead to Kufr.  The Qour'aan is not the wordings of a human but ‎that of Allah Ta'aala, The Supreme and Unique Master of the entire universe.  So, whoever reads the Qour'aan is not ‎reading anything other than the word of Allah Ta'aala.‎
