Making the Khidmah (Rendering service) of the mother

Muhammad Bin Al-Munkadir (Rahmatullahi Alayh) said that he spent the night massaging the feet of his mother while his brother, Abu Bakr, spent the night performing Salah.  But he emphasised that he would never have liked to exchange his night in which he spent massaging the feet of his mother for the night that his brother spent in Salah.

According to the Mabsut of Sarakhsi, whoever kissed the feet of his mother is as if he had kissed the threshold of the door of Jannah.  Another Hadith says that Jannah is by the feet of the mother.
