A PRINCIPLE

If a person entrusts you with a work, then, it is worthwhile noting that it is a good principle to inform him about the progress of the work. At times, the work may not have been performed and the person thinks that it has been completed just as it is likely that the work has been completed but the person is still worried about it. Therefore, we should live in a way that does not cause trouble to others.

Concealing the shortcomings of a Muslim

"... Whoever conceals the shortcomings of a Muslim, Allah (Ta’ala) will conceal his shortcomings in Dunya and Aakhirah ..."

Note: In principle, it is not permissible to disclose the sin of a Muslim. We should conceal his shortcoming. However, if by concealing this shortcoming, the interest of another person is threatened, the person concerned must be warned so that he can take his precautions. In this case, it is not prohibited. On the contrary, it is our duty to disclose it.

Upon waking up

A person does not know where and where his hands go around in his sleep. So, when he wakes up, it is more hygienic that he washes his hands before touching food or drink.

Using both hands

When one hand does not suffice, in such instance, we can use both hands. For example, a person cannot drink water from a coconut with one hand. So, he can use both hands to hold. Similarly, when we give the hand to make Musafaha, it is better to use both hands. It is a more respectable way.

Using the left hand

We use the left hand to clean ourselves in the toilet. Similarly, we use the left hand to clean ourselves of all impure things.

Using the right hand

We use the right hand to eat. Similarly, we must use the right hand to drink. According to a Hadith found in Saheeh Muslim, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) qualified eating and drinking with the left hand as the way of eating of Shaitan. A good Muslim must always refrain from what Shaitan likes and does. It does not cost us anything to use our right hand to eat and drink. However, a mere little negligence can cost us a lot.

It is not permissible

It is not permissible to urinate or excrete in the middle of the road. Similarly, it is very reprehensible to urinate under a fruit-bearing tree or under shade where people rest. Such an action invokes the wrath of Allah Ta’ala and His curse.
