The virtues of visiting the sick

When a person visits a sick person, 70,000 Farishta (angels) make Dua for him. Allah Ta'ala will grant him a garden in Jannah. Allah Ta'ala will keep him away from Jahannam, the distance between him and Jahannam will be that of a 60 years’ journey.

False hope

Those who want to repent from their sins must not give up hope. Allah Ta'ala is the Great Forgiver. One just has to ask Allah Ta'ala for forgiveness. Allah Ta'ala will rectify everything.

Lower the gaze

Lower your gaze when you walk on the street. Don't look at the family of others. You must realise that you also have a mother and sisters at home. You would not like that someone does this with your family. And our sisters must also dress in a decent and respectable manner. They also will have to reckon if they do not behave well.

Making the Khidmah (Rendering service) of the mother

Muhammad Bin Al-Munkadir (Rahmatullahi Alayh) said that he spent the night massaging the feet of his mother while his brother, Abu Bakr, spent the night performing Salah.  But he emphasised that he would never have liked to exchange his night in which he spent massaging the feet of his mother for the night that his brother spent in Salah.

According to the Mabsut of Sarakhsi, whoever kissed the feet of his mother is as if he had kissed the threshold of the door of Jannah.  Another Hadith says that Jannah is by the feet of the mother.
