Taqwa

This world is like a path full of thorns. Normally, when a person has to pass through a path filled with thorns, he will exercise all form of precaution. He will also gather his clothes to prevent them from clinging onto the thorns. In the same way, this world is a place full of thorns and sins. A person must live his life with great care so that he will not cling onto the thorns of sin. This precaution is called Taqwa. It is worth mentioning that Taqwa must be in the light of the Kitab of Allah Ta'ala and the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Otherwise, it will be regarded as Bid'ah, which is a very grave sin.
