The dignified way

Whatever we want, we can either choose to procure it in a dignified or undignified way. Why should we go through the transom or the window when we can go through the door? A dignified and a civilized person will always choose a respectable and an honorable way of doing things.

The dignified and honorable way is the way that Allah Ta'ala loves. The detestable way is the way that Allah Ta'ala detests. Acquiring wealth by stealing, gambling in casinos, horse racing, betting, being dishonest, contracting interest transactions or trading in goods and products that are not approved by the Shariah are detestable ways that make a person hateful in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. There is no future in being detestable to Allah Ta'ala. People may flatter you a lot for whatever you are but it is like a cloud in the sky that does not take long to change its shape. The honour that you may get would only last for a little while. True honor lies in being honorable in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. This is the honour which is perpetual. A person becomes honorable in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala when he submits to Allah Ta'ala.

Submission to Allah Ta'ala is attained by following the Deen that our beloved Nabi (Sallalaahu Alaihi Wasalam) had brought. Practising the Deen is the only way to make a person dignified, respectable and honorable. There is no other way of acquiring it, other than by the path of Allah Ta'ala. There is no door which one can knock on to attain it, except on the door of Allah Ta'ala.
