True Izzah

The 'Izzah (honour) that a person has in the eyes of people is an unstable Izzah. The people may like him based on certain criterion or talents which are not necessarily permanent in him. And often we see that the trend and the taste of the people change. They seek novelty and change. In the end, they see what they once loved as monotonous. They abandon what they loved before for something else. This is the Dunya which loves you insincerely for its own benefit. This often happens in the career of celebrities.

True Izzah is an Izzah that a person has in the eyes of Allah Ta'ala. The Izzah that a person receives from Allah Ta'ala is an Izzah that remains. And he receives that when he becomes beloved to Allah Ta'ala through his good behaviour.
