It is not called Gheebah

Gheebah means saying negative words about a person behind his back (in his absence) and revealing his bad manners in front of people with the intention of denigrating him. This is not permissible. But, if by concealing his shortcomings, we see that it will harm others, then in this case, it is our responsibility to reveal his shortcoming. And this form of revealing his shortcoming is not called Gheebah.

For example, if we know of a certain flaw in a boy who is sending a marriage proposal somewhere, then by keeping quiet, we will induce an entire family into difficulty. Perhaps by notifying the family concerned, their child will not fall in the trap of the wrong doers. By this, we will benefit an entire family greatly. Thus, this way of unveiling the shortcoming is not called Gheebah. On the contrary, it is of benefit.
