True information

The value of something depends on the interest that a person has for that thing. And a person cannot be interested in something without knowing the advantage and the benefit that he can reap from it. But it is a fact that whatever a person knows about anything, can be true just as it can be false. This leads us to understand that a person must know the source of the information. If the source is genuine, then we can be assured that the direction or the stand that he is taking on a certain subject is useful and beneficial.

At this point, many people happen to commit the serious mistake of believing that whatever their mind tells them, is absolutely correct. And this becomes even more serious when they give priority to their reasoning over the Qur'an and the Hadith. However, there is no source of information that is more authentic than the Qur’an and the Hadith.

That is why a Muslim must have one hundred percent belief in the statements of the Qur'an and the Hadith. Sometimes, a person may find it contrary to logic also but a good Muslim puts his logic aside and he adheres to the Qur'an and the Hadith. And we must not be under the false impression that there are illogical things in Deen. Everything in Deen has a wisdom. Everything in Deen is logical, but it is such a logic that goes beyond the human logic, that cannot be understood by everyone.

The Qur’an-e-Kareem and the Hadith of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) invite us to preserve our gaze, our ears, our tongue and all the members of the body from sins and promise us enormous rewards. On the other hand, our hearts invite us to lead a life of freedom where there is no restriction and is filled with sensations and pleasures. Those who have Yaqeen and firm belief in the Qur’an and Hadith, follow the Qur’an and Hadith. And they accept to make a small sacrifice for some time in order to acquire eternal well-being. On the other hand, those who understand the language of their hearts more than the language of Deen, allow themselves to be carried away and deprive themselves of an eternal benefit because of an insignificant pleasure. Normally, it is those who have followed the Qur’an and the Hadith, who will have eternal well-being and real success because they have followed information of certainty. On the other hand, those who follow their desires, they pawn their well-being. And we do not know if they will be able to break it or remove it.
