Time

You live the present which continues to become the past after every fraction of a second while waiting for the future which will not delay to join you and it will also be over.

No one can catch up the time that has already passed even if time has just passed by a second ago. In this sense, a time that has passed, has gone very far from a person. And a time which has not yet come, is something which is very near in the sense that it will not be long before it comes.

Thus, a person lives between a time that approaches him every moment and another that moves away from him every fraction of a second. The time in which he is living is the present. If a person wants to benefit fully with his life, he must live his present with a lot of precaution and with great vigilance. He must not let time be wasted. And he must not make the mistake of neglecting the present with the hope of repairing it in the future because the future is always in the balance and no one has any guarantee for that. In this way, a person will lose everything. He loses today with hope for tomorrow without knowing whether he will be able to see tomorrow or not. And who knows that the person may not have the energy and the courage to do it if he has been able to see the next day. A person, who wastes his time, regrets forever. Thus, we should not allow ourselves to be in such a situation. People say "Time is gold" but we know that lost gold can be found again. But the time that is lost cannot be recovered. In this sense, we should say "Time is more precious than silver, gold and even diamonds".

A person takes a lot of precautions and adopts necessary measures to safeguard his wealth. Time deserves even more attention than that. A person must not let his time be wasted because by doing this, he is losing his life itself and he is losing something that is more valuable than his wealth. But it is unfortunate and very unfortunate to see that people are losing and wasting such a valuable favour without mercy and regret. He loses his childhood by playing, his youth in having fun and his old age in incapacity and carelessness. To draw our attention to this very type of negligence, Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"There are two favours that many people are in great loss : health and free time."

That is, people do not know how to manage and take benefit from these two gifts. He exhausts / ruins his health and his time in committing things that harm his life and the life of his family. And what is even more serious is that his Aakhirah suffers. By wasting time, a person becomes a big / great loser in Dunya and Aakhirah forever. What does a person think he will acquire by spending sleepless nights in amusement, singing, dancing, playing or touring? There is nothing besides failure. There is nothing besides ruining one’s life. There is nothing besides making oneself suffer. On the other hand, if these moments have been spent in Zikrullah, Tilawat-ul-Qur'an, Salah, etc., this will bring a Nur (light) in the heart, in this life and in the hereafter. Spend this time for the One who granted it to you. Give your life to the One who gave you life. This is what will benefit you and this is what will be useful and profitable.
