- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
More precious than gold
Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) prevented a certain type of leasing lands. A Sahaabi (Radiyallahu Anhu) understood that leasing lands in itself is prohibited in general. His family was involved in leasing lands. He went by them to inform them that Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) had prohibited the leasing of lands. He pointed out that there is a lot of profit in this transaction but following Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) is more profitable and more valuable. This was the state of mind of the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) who did not consider anything in front of the command and the teaching of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
Likewise, once Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) saw a gold ring on the finger of a Sahaabi (Radiyallahu Anhu). Thus, Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) removed it from the finger of this Sahaabi (Radiyallahu Anhu) and threw it away. When Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) left, the other Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) advised him to pick it up so that he could take benefit from it in another way. But this Sahaabi (Radiyallahu Anhu) refused to pick it up saying how can I allow myself to pick up something which Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) threw away? This means that for this Sahaabi (Radiyallahu Anhu), the command of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) was more precious and more valuable than gold. And in general, the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) did not let anything surpass the command of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). The secret of their success and progress lies therein. However, this means of success is not restricted to the epoch of the Sahabah-e-Kiraam (Radiyallahu Anhum) only. It is open for the entire humanity till Qiyaamah. The future of the Muslims seems very blurred. There is no other solution besides attaching importance to the principles and the teachings of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) as required. Muslims must not expect progress if they are not ready to hold firm to the Sunnah of Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). Progress should not be expected merely because we bear the name of a Muslim and we practice a few things in Islam occasionally. Nowadays, 24 hours of our life is according to the principles of others. Our reasoning is not an Islamic reasoning. We have a purely materialistic vision. Despite all this, we have the audacity to ask why we are being trampled on at all levels. When the Qur'an-e-Kareem has promised us success, we should know that the words of Allah Ta'ala are true. There is no doubt in it. However, one must satisfy certain conditions in order to obtain what He has promised. And normally this applies to adopting a complete Islam. Thus, we cannot wait for it by committing so much of negligence in Deen. It is easy to understand that this dose of Deen that we are taking is too weak for this great success that we are expecting.
