- APPLICATION FOR HALAL CERTIFICATE
Become for Allah Ta’ala
You must become for someone who can help you everywhere and in all circumstances. Someone whom none can prevent from helping you if he wants to help. Someone who has the capacity to help you. Someone who surpasses everything. Someone who knows everything, has the capacity to do everything and can help you everywhere and can respond to your call in all situations. Who is this someone?
It is Allah Ta’ala. That is why we should become for Allah Ta’ala if we really want our well-being. People who turn their back on Allah Ta’ala, cause harm to themselves. They are not sincere to themselves and yet they may be pretending to be sincere towards humanity. It is difficult to depend on someone who is not sincere towards himself. That is why someone who did not become for Allah Ta’ala, cannot become for someone else.
There is nothing which is more beloved to the parents than their child. Likewise, a child also has a lot of love for his parents. But according to the Qur'an-e-Kareem, no one will know each other on the day of Qiyamah. Everyone will see to himself. And everyone will care for himself.
"So when the deafening scream will come, on that day man will run away from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife and his sons. On that day each one of them will be preoccupied with a predicament that will make him oblivious of another." (S80: V33-37)
Every person will have his own worries. And every person will worry about his fate. No one will be able to help no one. On the contrary, if someone would have had the capacity, he would have wished to give his children, his wife, his brother, his family and all what is on earth as ransom in order to save himself. But that will not be possible because no one will be able to save no one.
That doesn’t mean that we should not have affection for anyone. Friendship is something very good but it must be done for the sake of Allah Ta’ala. It has a limit that we do not have the right to exceed. As long as it does not make us disobey our Rabb, it is good but when it leads to the disobedience of our Rabb, then it is a calamity that must be rejected. Our Rabb must be our priority. People who become for their Rabb, they know the value of everything and they know how to assign everything to its true dimension. They will recognise the value of the parents, brothers, sisters, etc. better than others. And they will assume their responsibility better than whomsoever. And it is these same people who knew how to give everyone his right without any shortcomings, without excess and without penalising anyone. All this happens when one becomes for Allah Ta’ala. Otherwise, those who turned their backs on Allah Ta’ala and wanted to practice justice, they have always penalised someone somewhere in order to give someone else something that he does not deserve. They did not know how to keep a balance. On the other hand, there was a time when women did not even have any right but to be considered as the worst of creatures. When they were granted their right, now they were also granted part of the rights of others and they were given more than what they were supposed to get. When someone is given more than his right, it will necessitate diminishing the right of another. Thus, when women have been granted more than their rights, now we will start seeing advertisements like "Man has the same rights as woman". This shows that men’s rights have been decreased and this is because women have got more power than is required which finally went out of control.
One becomes for Allah Ta’ala by living according to what He wants. The way that Allah Ta’ala wants Insaan to live is the way which is advocated by the Qur'an-e-Kareem and which was taught by our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam). When a person becomes for Allah Ta’ala, Allah Ta’ala also becomes his. When Allah Ta’ala becomes for someone, He miraculously gives him his necessities and whatever he needs. He relieves him of all his difficulties. He relieves him of all his worries and troubles.
The more valuable something is, the more it requires effort. A simple thing requires a little effort and a big thing requires a lot of effort. Likewise, there are also certain things which you will not be able to acquire despite all efforts. In the light of this, we can have an idea how difficult it must be to acquire Allah Ta’ala. But Allah Ta’ala is full of kindness and grace. When a person comes to Allah Ta’ala, Allah Ta’ala facilitates the journey of that person to Him. He makes the destination fold [up itself] and come towards him. According to a Hadith Qudsi, metaphorically speaking, Allah Ta’ala runs towards the one who comes towards him walking.
